Audi Offers New Selection for Audi A3

In preparation for the German showrooms next February, the collection of available A3 compact class is expanded in Ingolstadt, Germany. Customers now have the options of four different engines and a different array of extras.

The A3’s engine comes in two petrol and two TDI engine options with a range of 77 kW/105 hp to 147 kW/200 hp. Audi is presenting the A3 convertible with 17- inch wheels, sport chassis and sport seats in the Ambition line. An S Line exterior sports package is also available for the Quattro model. Its vinyl roof can open and close in just nine seconds and is offered in fully automatic, semi-automatic and special sound-proof variants.

Audi stated that they decided on for the traditional vinyl roof because of “Advantages in space-saving design and more harmonious proportions.”

The roof folds together in a Z-shape fashion when closing thus taking up a fewer space avoiding the need to shift the rear seats forward. The windscreen has the same angle as the usual model. The large back window is also heated.

The Redesigned Audi Pavilion is Finally All Set

The opening of the pavilion in Autostadt located in Wolfsburg was attended by the officials of Audi. Audi Achieved an Increased of Sales for 2007

The German car manufacturer Audi achieved a rise of sales for its automobiles reaching to 893,600 units. The period covered is from January to November this year, beating the previous year’s record of 833,021 units. The company reported the increase by 7.3 percent.

The total number of vehicles sold for the first eleven months of 2007 was 96,909. This was an increase of 17.4 percent from the 82,555 cars sold last year. Audi likewise achieved an increase of sales in Spain with 4,383 cars sold in November. It reached to 54,018 units sold between January and November. On the other hand, a total of 232,277 cars in the German market were sold, which was a minor decline of sales to 1.6 percent compared to the record last year.
